Scissor Service
$55.00/pair inc GST
We will provide a comprehensive service for your favourite pair of scissors:
- Disassemble
- Balance – Checking the shape and line of the blade
- First sharpen to reform the basic edge
- Hollow grind inner blade faces
- Polishing blade edges
- Hand honing of inner blade faces
- Reassembly and replacement of damaged washers
- Test of cutting edge of blade
- Re-point and polish of scissor points
- Oiling of blades and screw assembly
Micro Serration
$66.00/pair inc GST
Micro Serration is a special process in which small grooves are cut into the blade edge.
- Disassemble
- Balance – Checking the shape and line of the blade
- First sharpen to reform the basic edge
- Re-serrate blade
- Polishing blade edges
- Reassembly and replacement of damaged washers
- Test of cutting edge of blade
- Oiling of blades and screw assembly
These are fantastic for both wet and dry hair and will ensure you always get an even cut.

We will come to your salon not only to collect your scissors/clippers but we will also tag and test your electrical items to ensure you are able to maintain a safe working environment in your salon.
